VHS

VHS creates analog tape instability with tracking drift, static, chroma bleed, tearing, wobble, and dropouts.

How-to

Starting Workflow for VHS Effect

  1. Step 1

Use Tracking Error and Noise for the base tape character.

  2. Step 2

Add Color Bleed when you want softer analog chroma smearing.

  3. Step 3

Push Glitch, Wobble, Head Switch, and Dropouts for damaged-signal moments.
